Co-Editor-in-Chief Iksha is a fourth-year MD/MCR student at OHSU. Throughout her education, she has been drawn to the ways art and medicine intersect to foster healing and cultivate empathy. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, live music, exploring new coffee shops, and recently started screen printing. |
Vivian Nye
Co-Editor-in-Chief Vivian is a fourth-year OHSU medical student. She is passionate about making space for clinical learners to reflect through art and writing. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her cat, hiking, and cheering on the Thorns and the Fire. |
Maisie Bailey
Editor Maisie is a third-year MD-MPH student at OHSU who has always loved the intersection between art and science. Maisie is a musician who also dabbles in fiber arts, embroidery, poetry, writing, and various visual media. |
Birgitta Carlson
Editor Birgitta is a second-year medical student with an interest in psychiatry and neurology. She is passionate about using art to make medicine and research more approachable to the public. She enjoys ceramics, printmaking, and learning new mediums. |
Emily Modlin
Editor Emily Modlin is a fourth-year medical student at OHSU. She is pursuing a career in obstetrics and gynecology and is a passionate advocate for reproductive health equity and individual expression, particularly through art and storytelling. She has been a member of the Aerial editorial team for the past three years and enjoys piecing together artistic works within the framework of unique themes for each issue. |
